HURRAY Raises Pre-A Funding from Signite Partners and Lotte Ventures

Worlder Inc. (CEO Hyejin Hwang), the company behind K-pet care brand HURRAY, announced on May 29 that it has secured Pre-A funding from Signite Partners, the corporate venture capital arm of Shinsegae Group, and Lotte Ventures, the CVC of Lotte Group.

Industry observers note that securing simultaneous backing from two CVCs affiliated with Korea's major retail conglomerates is a notable outcome in a contracted startup investment market.

The investment decision reportedly weighed HURRAY's growth trajectory alongside the expanding pet skincare category, the brand's offline retail presence, and its global expansion strategy. Founded on April 12, 2023, HURRAY has grown revenue by more than 400% in three years across pet wipes and skincare. Its flagship product, Melting Paper, combines flushable fabric that breaks down in water with a government-licensed antibacterial formula.

The brand is currently carried by leading Korean offline retailers including E-mart Molly's Pet Shop, Lotte Mart Colioli, and Hyundai Department Store We,pet, and continues to expand its retail footprint.

Building on this round, Worlder plans to establish a US subsidiary in June and enter the global market. The company also intends to leverage the domestic and international retail networks and global partnership infrastructure of Signite Partners and Lotte Ventures to accelerate overseas expansion.

"This investment is more than capital — it's a strategic partnership for entering global markets," said CEO Hyejin Hwang. "We plan to strengthen HURRAY's technology and brand competitiveness in the US market through our investors' retail infrastructure."

HURRAY will exhibit at MEGAZOO 2026, the international pet expo held at KINTEX Ilsan from May 28 to 30.
